Now the first mode of hunting that I'm going
to teach you is the snare method. Now snare is basically a noose for an animal. This is
what we have right here. You are going to set your snare up on a game trail, and I'm
going to show you how to find a game trail in just a second. So here's a snare, basically
what it is, is when this is set up on a game trail an animal is going to run through and
they are going to get snagged up on this and it's going to tighten around them ok. Now
this is going to be tied off to a static object so they can't get free ok. That's basically
what a snare is. Now a game trail is not always easy to find, it's actually kind of a pain
in the butt.
Always look in meadows for the most part, that's where you are going to find
the most game trails for quail, or rabbit, or mice, different rodents are in big meadows.
So we are in a meadow here and I just found this game trail that I believe to be quail
game trail. Now you can tell it apart because there is this trail going right between the
grass right here, that's pretty beaten down. These act like roads and highways for animals.
So now that we've found our game trail I'm going to show you how to set up the snare.
